What does the FCV Sentinel app do?

Modified on Tue, Jul 2 at 3:30 PM

FCV Sentinel is designed to support team wellness initiatives by tracking team member health status, tracking fitness and performance while continuously pushing that data to a custom dashboard created for each team.

The web-based dashboard gives team management an early warning that a teammate may be ill, which could affect productivity and project status. With this data, teams can then rapidly respond to potential personnel gaps, and help keep sick team members from coming to events, training and practices which risks infecting other team members.

When you first use the app, you’ll provide a series of Forced Cough Vocalizations (FCVs) which are really just intentional coughs. The app combines these coughs to establish a matrixed representation of a person’s cough profile, called a Baseline. This baseline is as unique as to each person as their fingerprint.

Then, every time you use the app, you’ll cough again. Each cough generates a new FCV score that compares your current cough to your Baseline. Your FCV score represents the degree of change, or impact, to your FCV profile detected by the product. Your scores are sent to the team dashboard to better track potential wellness issues and impacts to performance

The app also provides a suite of personal wellness tracking tools, allowing users to input data on a range of symptoms and self-collected vital signs, along with a personal Diary.
